    Import and Export Coordinator 

    - 20 MTH Contract -


    As the Import and Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective import and export of shipments while resolving problems that arise along the supply chain. You will also ensure that government rules and regulations
    as well as Canon Export Policy are being followed at all times.



    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and expedite import shipments with shipper/vendor, carrier, Customs Broker and Warehouse while prioritizing shipments based on order status
    • Ensure that the mandated shipment information on Custom’s invoices are provided to Customs Broker for Customs clearance
    • Prepare export documentation and coordinate with carrier for processing of international export shipments, while adhering to the rules and regulations of government and Canon export Policy
    • Investigate shipment discrepancy by communicating with Business Units, vendor, and
      carrier for inventory and Custom’s adjustment
    • Investigate shipment shortages and damages for insurance claims by coordinating with
      carrier, shipper and insurance company to prepare required documentation
    • Prepare month-end reports summarizing import and export activities
    • Support team members with departmental tasks
    • Assist with ad hoc projects as required


    To Succeed, You Will Have

    • Post-Secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field is preferred
    • 2 years of related work experience
    • Certified Customs Specialist designation is considered an asset
    • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
    • Excellent project and process management skills to follow the import, export and Customs processes
    • Strong computer and technical skills; with a focus on Microsoft Office Excel
