    Associate Solutions Consultant

    As the Associate Solutions Consultant, you will utilize your knowledge in software solutions to partner and support our sales team with product demonstrations and implementations. You are driven to conduct investigative calls and print assessments. Your enthusiasm will be useful when developing and presenting training content to Sales on software solutions to help them to differentiate our total solution in the marketplace.

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities

    • Participate in investigative/discovery meetings with Sales Representatives and potential customers in order to determine the correct solution for the customer
    • Conduct needs analysis in order to understand workflows and create compelling proposals
    • Perform customer demonstrations and/or presentations at Canon office, showroom, or at customer location
    • Conduct testing, and when required, trials and proof of concepts
    • Provide ongoing guidance and education to the Sales team which will increase Sales’ ability to identify and maximize solutions opportunities
    • Partner with Sales to prepare proposals and quotes
    • Leverage knowledge of Canon’s solutions and service capabilities to differentiate Canon’s offerings and increase competitiveness
    • Ensure Canon solutions implementations are well-executed
    • Conduct end-user hardware and software training
    • Proactively support and participate in customer account reviews with Sales in order to identify further solutions and hardware opportunities

    Qualifications

    To Succeed, You Will Have

    • Post Secondary Education in a Computer Science or Colour Management 
    • 2-5 years of technical experience with software installation and re-installation
    • Above average computer hardware or software skills with an overall strong technical aptitude
    • Ability to to analyze and review customer needs, costs, and efficiencies and determine appropriate solutions
    • Experience working within a sales culture
    • Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills
    • Self motivation with the ability to function independently as well as with internal stake holders
