Organizational Development Specialist - Human Resources

Your passion for organizational psychology will help Canon to design and implement talent management strategy. Your knowledge of organizational design will be key in executing initiatives such as: succession planning, leadership and talent development. In this role, you will be a key member of the Organizational Effectiveness & Talent Development team and will have the ability to build and influence relationships with leadership at all levels.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in consultation and collaboration with stakeholders to assess talent management and leadership development needs using internal and external resources to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate programs
  • Identify opportunities to develop organizational development, leadership and learning solutions that blend organizational effectiveness and talent development to drive enhancements in performance, productivity, and culture
  • Assist in the design and lead the implementation of talent management and organizational development initiatives and practices related to employee engagement, career and leadership development, and process improvement that support current and future strategic goals
  • Assist manager in partnering with Executive Leadership Team and senior leaders to develop, implement, and grow a development program to accelerate development for high potential employees who are future leaders in the organization
  • Participate in the development, execution, and evaluation of organizational measurement and reporting tools and processes
  • Develop metrics to evaluate effectiveness of assigned projects and initiatives

Qualifications

To succeed, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree. Preferably in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration
  • 3-5 years of related work experience
  • Big picture thinking to analyze, review and recommend possible organizational improvements
  • Strong ability to interpret and analyze data/findings gathered to identify trends and commonalities
  • Strong project/process management skills
  • Strong time management/multi-tasking skills
  • Above average computer/technical skills (Excel, PowerPoint etc)
